Kane marks his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has diminished and he is prepared to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is at the moment two years through the four-year agreement he agreed to when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.
The veteran forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the initial major honor of his illustrious career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently stated that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he earlier was, and would seriously consider extending his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, attaining the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had eluded him until he won the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would react after breaking his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
