I'll dominate 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex two time unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually happening.
